Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 Results

Every aspirant appearing in CAT 2023 exam (to be held on November 26, 2023) will desperately be waiting for the results. Based on previous years’ data, CAT 2023 exam results are expected to be out by the first week of January 2024. However, these are tentative dates, and the actual date of the result may vary.

CAT 2023 exam is scheduled for November 26, 2023, and it will be held in three slots. CAT is the most important exam for those aspiring to get admission in the IIMs and non-IIMs. Hence the desperation and wait are obvious.

Selection Procedure of IIMs post-CAT 2023

Declaration of CAT 2023 results and shortlisting: Once the result of CAT 2023 is out, the list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the respective IIMs. Each IIM will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly. The criteria for shortlisting vary across IIMs. A candidate should also visit the admissions sections of the websites of the respective IIMs for further information.

Downloading CAT 2023 result:

Once the CAT 2023 results are out, you can download the CAT 2023 scorecard from the official website of IIM CAT. The CAT scorecard can be downloaded with the login id/registration number and password for the website.

How are candidates shortlisted?

Once the results are out, each IIM shortlists candidates based on their CAT scores, those candidates are called for the next rounds of admission also known as the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds respectively. It is however advised to check the websites of your shortlisted colleges (IIMs or Non-IIMs) on regular basis for updates.
