General English (GE):
The total questions in this section would be 34 and the maximum marks allotted are 51. The ideal time frame within which one should solve this section is around 30 to 35 minutes, and the ideal score can be around 20.
SNAP 2021 Exam Tips:
- There are 2 RC passages with 5 and 6 questions each. One of them is usually easy so attempt at least the easy one.
- It is advisable to skim through the remaining questions and attempt the easy ones and pick Reading Comprehension.
- The vocabulary questions are considered easy in the SNAP exam. These will help you get through questions on synonyms, antonyms, idioms, phrases and fill in the blanks.
- Keep a habit of reading newspapers like The Hindu, The Indian Express, and magazines like Competition Success Review to name a few. Also, maintain a habit of reading online.
Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QA/DI) & DS:
The total questions in this section would be 40 and the maximum marks allotted are 45. The ideal time frame within which one should solve this section is around 40 minutes, and the ideal score can be from 30 to 32.
SNAP 2021 Exam Tips:
- There are usually 2 DI sets with 4 questions each. One is always easier than the other.
- The maximum questions are from arithmetic and the important topics are – Number System, Time Speed Distance, Time % Work, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Averages and Ration & Proportion
- There is 1 question from P&C, Probability, AP/GP, Log, Sets, and Linear/Quadratic Equations.

- Do not attempt questions you are unsure of since there is negative marking.
Logical & Analytical Reasoning (LR):
The total questions in this section would be 36 and the maximum marks allotted are 54. The ideal time frame within which one should solve this section is around 35 to 40 minutes, and the ideal score can be from 30 to 35.
SNAP 2021 Exam Tips:
- Unlike its counterparts that have question sets, there are only single questions in the LR sections in the SNAP exam, so you must have a good amount of time in your hand to answer this.
- Since there is no sectional cut-off, hence if the other sections are your forte, you can keep the count of this one low.
- The difficulty level is moderate.
- The topics that are easier and important (in no particular order) are- Input/output, Visual Reasoning, Series, Puzzles, and Mathematical Reasoning.
