NMIMS Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2021: Eligibility Criteria: Check your Eligibility
NMAT or NMIMS Aptitude Test is a national-level management entrance test. Candidates who are interested in doing an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). NMAT lets you apply for admission in NMIMS Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. You can take the NMAT exam at most up to 3 times which includes one attempt and 2 retakes. The NMAT Notification was released on August 03, 2021. The registration window of NMAT exam 2021 will be open from August 03, 2021, to November 17, 2021. Whereas you can deliver the exam between October 14, 2021, and December 27, 2021.
It is important to thoroughly check the eligibility criteria of NMAT exam before applying. The eligibility criteria for NMAT 2021 for different courses may vary from institute to institute.

As per the admissions brochure of NMIMS the following points can be noted:
- As per University Grants Commission (UGC) notification – F. No. UGC/DEB/2013 dated 14.10.2020 – “Degrees / Diplomas / Certificates awarded for programmes conducted by the Open & Distance Learning (ODL) institutions, recognized by Distance Education Council (DEC) (erstwhile) and UGC, in conformity with UGC Notification on the specification of Degrees should be treated as equivalent to the corresponding awards of the Degree / Diploma / Certificate of the traditional Universities/institutions in the country”.
- AIU certificate is mandatory for those candidates who have completed their graduation from overseas Universities.
- Reservation of seats for the widows/wards of armed forces personnel killed / disabled in action or during peacetime and wards of Kashmiri migrants will be applicable provided such candidates successfully meet the specified cut-offs and eligibility criteria of the respective program /s applied for at the time of registration and also qualify the NMAT by GMAC Test cut off. If the candidate has been selected in any of the programs of NMIMS, then they would not be considered for this reservation.
