SNAP 2021 Selection Procedure

The aspirants are tested on various skills such as English, writing, mathematics, decision making, general knowledge, and communication skills.

Step 1: SNAP 2021 Exam

Step 3: Shortlisted candidates will be called for WAT, GE, and PI rounds
Step 4: Final Merit List

Step 1: SNAP 2021 Exam: We have already discussed SNP 2021 exam, its structure, and various possibilities. However, to cut short we can say the following things about the SNAP 2021 exam:

1. There are 3 sections
2. The total number of questions is 60
3. Time allotted is 1 hour time
4. Each correct answer carries 1 mark
5. Each incorrect answer deducts 0.25 marks
6. NO marks are deducted for unanswered questions.
7. Students get their overall score out of 60 marks as well as sectional scores in the SNAP 2021 scorecard

Step 2: SNAP 2021 result: The SNAP 2021 result for the written exam will be announced on 20th January 2021. The overall cut-off is announced and is separate for each SNAP participating colleges.

Step 3: GE,PI, and WAT rounds: Based on the cutoff list and applications received, candidates will be shortlisted for the following three rounds:

• Group Exercise (GE)
• Personal Interaction (PI)
• Writing Ability Test (WAT)

Important points:

• Prepare well for all three rounds.
• Keep all the relevant documents with you.
• Please preserve the authenticated Admit Card for the GE – PIWAT processes
• In order to fulfill the admission criteria for SNAP’s PG programmes under SIU, it is mandatory to attend all components/tests of GE – PIWAT by the candidate(s)
• Candidates who attend all components/ tests of the selection process(GE-PIWAT) shall be considered eligible for generation of the SNAP 2021 merit/ wait/reject list
• Candidates who remain absent for any one of the components/tests will be considered as ineligible for the SNAP 2021 selection process of any of the PG degree programme of SIU

Step 4: Announcement of final merit list:
Based on the performance of shortlisted candidates, a final merit list will be announced. The following table shows the weightage of marks in each round:
