NIRF 2021 India Rankings Released
The honorable Ministry of Education today released the National Institutional Ranking Framework or NIRF India rankings for the year 2021.
The most authentic and referred NIRF ranking is finally released after a long wait. Everyone, various Universities and institutions, students, and thousands of aspirants across India were desperately waiting for this years’ NIRF ranking.

About NIRF: Overview
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the MHRD (then) and launched by the Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development (now Ministry of Education) on September 29, 2015.
What is NIRF Framework?
This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. The methodology draws from the overall recommendations broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by the Ministry of Education, to identify broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions. The parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.
The first edition of the NIRF India Rankings was released on April 04, 2016.
What type of Universities & Colleges does NIRF cover?
The NIRF India Ranking is considered the most authentic ranking in India as it is released by the Ministry of Education itself. NIRF India Rankings are released every year. This ranking tells which colleges or universities have topped the list all over India for that particular year.
